Guest Picks: Go Bold With Pattern and Colour

Prints, patterns and bright colours are definitely hot in the world of design as of late, but if you’re anything like me, they are more nerve-racking than anything else. I’m someone who has become complacent with all things neutral and conventional, to the point that I prevent a bright accent pillow or geometric rug such as the plague while purchasing. Recently, with everything from magazine covers to website articles showing beautifully daring rooms doused in patterns galore, I have found myself slightly intrigued and have put out to find a few pieces that just might ease me into a brighter layout dimension. — Annemarie from Brunch in Saks
