Wood Range Hoods Naturally Fit Kitchen Design

I am a fan of function and form. As a designer form is sought out by me, and on function I thrive as an on-the-go adult. With that being said, wooden range hoods are right up my street. Functionallythey draw smoke, grease, odors and moisture out of the kitchen atmosphere; formwise, they look spectacular whilst doing this.

The range hood is your focal point or anchor of a kitchen. Whether it stands alone or is flanked by cabinets, it affects the mood of the entire cucina. My personal favorite range hood design is wood. Wood hoods may either be matched into the cabinetry or completed in a contrasting finish for a mixed-material pop. Texturally hoods also kick things up a notch.

Get inspired by the nine wood hoods below and inform usdo you adore function and form as much as we do?

Rodolfo Castro built character-grade red bamboo planks over a Vent-A-Hood lining that’s 6 inches larger than the cooktop.

A wood canopy that’s completed to match the kitchen cabinets artfully conceals the venting system.

A distressed wood hood texturally adds loads of dimension into the kitchen also becomes an anchor in the area.
